    Re: Payment Information

Need some clarification on what you are needing.

Credit Card information is never stored by us or our application. Because of this, it is not possible to take the credit card information and put it into QuickBooks. DataSynch also does not synch those fields.

ICCP allows you to charge the credit card from within Salesforce. The credit card is never stored, but rather always sent to Intuit for processing. After the Payment has been created in Salesforce, DataSynch can insert the payment into QuickBooks. If the Payment was done from within an Opportunity in Salesforce, and that Opportunity is an Invoice in QuickBooks, then DataSynch will insert the Payment into QuickBooks.

I am throwing a lot of information here, so it might be really confusing. Let us know if we can provide any more help.

    Thanks

I am sorry to here this as I wes led to believe otherwise.

Is there any way that the information can be inserted into Salesforce and map that field to QuickBooks payment information?

    Re: Payment Information

I am sure this is a misunderstanding , and that ICCP can accommodate your needs.

Would you please let us know exactly what you are trying to accomplish. Do you just want Payments to show up in QuickBooks after being processed through Salesforce?

    Re: Payment Information

Actually its just the opposit. I need for payments in QuickBooks to show up in in Salesforce and i need for Salesforce to be able to enter the credit card information to upload into quickbooks in order to process these payments.

Would it be possible to process the Payments in Salesforce instead?

    Re: Payment Information

If you are using DataSynch with ICCP, then all the payments your process within QuickBooks will be transfered to Salesforce.com and associated with the opportunities representing the Invoices.

ICCP processes payments from within Salesforce.com.  You would accept the Credit Card information within Salesforce.com and the payment would be verified against your Inuit Payment solution account.  The credit card number is never stored or transfered to QuickBooks.  We have no plans to support a workflow of sending credit card information to QuickBooks for processing of payments from within QuickBooks.  This would require storing of the credit card information within Salesforce.com to be later transfered and is not advised under PCI compliance regulations.

No. These are our sales people. We do not want them charging peoples credit cards

    Re: Payment Information

ICCP allows users to charge credit cards from within Salesforce.com .

To learn about the functionality of the product, we have a few screencasts that walk over how to use it:

I hope those screencasts help in clearing some of the confusion. If the screencasts come up short, then check out the user guide at :

    Thanks.
